Post  Mr.Mudkip Sat Jun 05, 2010 9:38 am

Hey Smile

First of all, this is my first guide ever so go easy on me ;D

I decided to make this guide since nearly every newcomer asks about ways to earn rgps (Renegade Points basically the same as cps),
how upgrading works and where and how they can level the fastest.

I. Earning rgps
I.1. rgps by gold
I.2. rgps by Jade Quest
I.3. rgps by Spouse Quest
I.4. rgps in FrozenGrotto

II. Crafting
II.1. Upgrading quality
II.2. Composing items
II.3. Socket items
II.4. Blessing items
II.5. Enchant items

III. Leveling

I. Earning rgps

Earning rgps is the one thing your going to do the most, either for crafting, buying garms/cup or keeping you nobility rank.

I.1. rgps by gold

Requirements:
10 or 100 million gold

Reward:
215 or 2150 rgps

The best and easiest way for newcomers to get some rgps is to farm gold. Equip your armor and weapon and go outside Twin City
to kill some EvilChicken. They drop about 5 million.

Newbie Guide Evlich11

The deal with collecting money is that you can buy a DragonBall(10 million gold), or a DragonBallScroll(100 million gold) in market.

To get to the market, you need to talk to a conductress (the one in Twin City is at about (437,440) outside of the city where you first hunted EvilChicken).

Newbie Guide Conduc10

Talk to her and ask to get to the market. Here you just need to jump straight up to MysticMerchant (about (302,226)) and ask her to buy a DragonBall or Scroll.

Newbie Guide Mystic10

When you got you DragonBall or Scroll, you need to go to CPAdmin, he's at about (257,224) next to the WarehouseMan in market.
Ask him to exchange your DragonBall (215 rgps) or Scroll (2100 rgps).

Newbie Guide Cpadmi10

PS: I would suggest spending my first DragonBalls on upgrading my equipment since it helps a lot killing monsters.
How you can upgrade your equipment will be explained in II.1.

I.2. rgps by Jade Quest

Requirements:
JadeKylin
100.000 Gold
1 Meteor

Reward:
30 thousand rgps

To do this quest I'd suggest you're about level 70 so you can kill SandMonsterL68 which are blue and by far the monsters easiest to kill to get JadeKylin.

First of all you need to go to Desert City which can be done by buying a scroll in ShoppingMall or via the conductress. Once you're in DesertCity, you need to
jump outside the city walls and search for the following monsters which have the possibility to drop a JadeKylin.

- SandMonsterL68 (blue Sandmonster)
- SandMonsterAide/Msgr/King
- HillMonsterL73
- HillMonsterAide/Msgr/King
- BladeGhostL83
- BladeGhostAide/Msgr/King

Newbie Guide Jadeky10

Once you got a JadeKylin, you need a meteor which I'd suggest you buy in the ShoppingMall for 13 rgps.

After you got all requirements you need to go to market and search for EscortChief which can be found at the right side when you enter market. (308,203)

Newbie Guide Jadequ10

All you need to do now is talk to EscortChief and begin the quest. After him you need to talk to ShopBoy, Roy and Yougo. When you're done with Yougo you need to talk to EscortChief again
to get your reward (30 thousand rgps).

I.3. rgps by Spouse Quest

The Spouse Quest is a new quest which will give you a reward of 500 thousand rgps and a LoveForever ring which is of no use (in my opinion, but it's a nice feature since your doing the quest with your wife)

Requirements:
a wife/husband
30 RedRoses

Reward:
500 thousand rgps
LoveForever ring

First of all, you need to have a wife/husband. You can just create a second account, and make that char the opposite gender your main character is.
Now you need to marry him. To do so you need to go to the market and click on the LoveStone which is the blue stone in the middle of the market at about (278,235)
Ask to get married and click on the character you'd like to marry.

Newbie Guide Marry10

Once this is done, your male character needs to create a team and team up with his wife. After forming a team you need to go to Twin City and talk to the npc at about (431,366)
(current name of the npc is lexypoo but it changes sometimes...)

Newbie Guide Lexypo10

This npc will bring you to a new map where you need to hunt for RedRoses.

Newbie Guide Redros10

The husband needs to hold all 30 roses to get to the next stage. To do so, you need to talk to the npc on this map who is at about (015,195) and also called lexypoo at the moment.

Newbie Guide Lexypo11

After you enter, you need to jump up to the tree and kill the Pink Piglet (129,103) and pick up the White Rose.

Newbie Guide Pink_p10

Once you obtained the WhiteRose, you need to head back to the npc (lexypoo (180,162)) in the beginning of this map to get your reward.

Newbie Guide Lexypo12

Congratulation, you just received 500 thousand rgps and a LoveForever ring.

I.4. rgps in FrozenGrotto

Requirements:
Highest Class Promotion (level 120)

Reward:
300 rgps per kill

First you need to know that Frozen Grotto has the strongest mobs in this game. They're level 150 and according to this, they hit you pretty hard...
So you either need to have maxed gears (maybe even be 1st reborn) and I'd suggest to take pots with you.

Now to the information part, there are several grottos, one for warriors and water taoists and one for every other class.
You enter all from the same npc who is Roger in Twin City, right of the boxer at (361,313).

Newbie Guide Roger10

There is only that one map in grotto with HornyBats. They add 300 rgps when you kill them, they don't literally drop them.

Newbie Guide Grotto10

II. Crafting

For this part you need to make sure you're equipment you wish to upgrade has full durability.

I'm going to use a level 15 Hammer(normal). Some numbers may vary depending if you're using a weapon or some other equipment.

II.1. Upgrading quality

Requirements:
Dragonballs

To upgrade the quality of an item, it needs to be equipped!

First of all, there are 5 different qualities:

Normal ==> Refined ==> Unique ==> Elite ==> Super

To upgrade the quality of an item, you need DragonBalls which can be bought in ShoppingMall (220 rgps) or from MysticMerchant (10 thousand gold).
I'll tell you right away how many DragonBalls you need, so you can buy them right away:

Normal -> Refined : 2
Refined -> Unique : 3
Unique -> Elite : 4
Elite -> Super : 6

When you got to right amount of DragonBalls, either ask Mark.Controller (market (302,236)) to teleport you to Upgrade Area

Newbie Guide Mark_c10

or you can go there by foot if you run to the upper left part of the market.

Once you are at the upgrade area, you need to talk to MagicArtisan and ask him to "Upgrade quality",
then you choose what equipment you'd like to be upgraded.

Newbie Guide Upgrad10

Congratulations, your item is now super!

II.2. Composing items

Info:
+3stone: 108 rgps
+4Stone: 324 rgps
+5Stone: 972 rgps
+6Stone: 2916 rgps
+7Stone: 8748 rgps
+8Stone: 26244 rgps

To compose an item, it needs to be in your bag.

Maximal composing number is +12!

Composing an item means you're making it "+" which means adding some status to it like more attack or defence.

To do so you first need to buy + stones which can be bought in ShoppingMall and for higher stones at VIPStorekeeper.

Assuming you got an item which is not composed at all, you need to buy 8 +3Stones from ShoppingMall.
Usually you'd need to add that kinda of +Stone according to the number your item already is, but since there are no lower
+Stones than +3 we have to use those.

To start composing an item you need to talk to WuxingOven (market (146,227)) and choose "Compose items."

Newbie Guide Wuxing10

Now you need to put your weapon in the slot, and then add 2 +3 stones. Do so with until your item is +4.

To make a +4 item +5, you need 2 +4 Stones. Buy them in the same way you bought +3Stones and add them to your item again.

Newbie Guide Compos10

From now on you also need to add gems with the +Stones to further compose your item.
Weapons need 2 gems, other equipment only need 1 gem.

To make your +5 item +6 you need to buy 2 +5Stones and 1/2 gems. I'd suggest you buy KylinGems (35 rgps) since they're the cheapest and it doesn't matter what gem you add to your item.
Add them the same way you did till now. Stones in the two right boxes, gems in the two lower boxes.

Newbie Guide Compos11

To make your +6 item +7 you need to buy 2 +6Stones and 1/2 gems.

Since you can't buy +7 or +8 stones in ShoppingMall, you need to go to VIPStorekeeper who can be found next to LoveStone (market (279,242)).

You also need 2 +7 and +8 stones and 1/2 gems for each further composing.

Once your item is +9, you need to be level 130 to continue, what's more, you don't need and more +Stones but DragonBalls from now on.
You also ask WuxingOven to compose from +9 onwards and you need to equip your item from now on.

When you talk to WuxingOven, choose "Compose +9." and then the kind of composing you want to do.

+9 to +10 costs 12 DragonBalls
+10 to +11 costs 25 DragonBalls
+11 to +12 costs 40 DragonBalls

Congratulations, your item is now +12!

II.3. Socket items

Requirements:
Dragonballs
ToughDrills

You can put a first and a second socket in any equipment. A socket means that you have a space in your item to put a gem into it,
which gives you some boost on your stats.

There is a difference between putting sockets into a weapon and any other item.

For weapons, you need to equip it and talk to ArtisanOu (market (147,221)).
He asks 1 DragonBall for the first socket and 5 DragonBalls for the second.

Newbie Guide Artisa10

For any other kind of equipment you need to talk to BlacksmithLee (market (142,221))
He asks 12 DragonBalls for the first socket.
To put a second socket into your item you need to buy ToughDrills (1890 rgps) in ShoppingMall.
When you choose "Use 1 ToughDrill to make the socket." you have a chance that it works, if it fails your ToughDrill becomes a StarDrill.
After you tried 7 ToughDrills and they all failed, you can simply use the 7 StarDrills you got to make a second socket for sure.

Congratulations, your item got 2 sockets now!

But that's not the end this time...

Now you need to buy Supergems at VIPStorekeeper to put them into your item.

After you purchased your gems, got to ArtisanCloud (market (151,244)) and talk to him. Now you only have to put your item into the box and add the two gems.
Press "Socket Gem" and you're done!

Newbie Guide Socket10

Congratulations, your item has 2 gems in it now!

(When you want to remove a gem again, just put it into the same box again, click on the gem you wish to remove and press "Remove". BUT the gem will be lost!)

II.4. Blessing items

Requirements:
SuperTortoiseGems (780 rgps)

Blessing an item means putting a value on that particular item which represents the value in % of damage that can be reduced.

To bless an item you need TortoiseGems which can be bought in ShoppinMall.

You need:
5 gems to make a non-blessed blessed, which means -1%
1 gem to make a -1% blessing into -3% blessing
3 gems to make a -3% blessing into -5% blessing
5 gems to make a -5% blessing into -7% blessing

14 gems in total.

After you got the gems, search for Ethereal (market (150,227)) and ask him "I want to bless my Non-Blessed equipment"

Newbie Guide Ethere10

Next you need to choose "I want to upgrade my blessed equipment" from Ethereal and do so till you're item is -7% blessed.

Congratulations, you now have a max. blessed item.

II.5. Enchant items

Requirements:
SuperDragonGem (975 rgps - 200-255 HP)

Enchanting an item means putting a HP-value on it which will be added to your own HP.

To enchant your equipment you need to unequip it first.

Talk to WuxingOven and choose "Enchant items." put your item in the big slot and your gem in the smaller one. Next press OK.

The value that will be added to your item is a random number.

Newbie Guide Enchan10

Congratulations, you now have an enchanted item!

III. Leveling

To make leveling very easy, I'd suggest to get a mentor.

Just ask in Twin City or come to www.renegade-co.com/chat.php and ask there for a mentor.
Most mentor will gie you cps so you can buy expballs (27 rgps) and upgrade your gears which makes leveling hell of a lot easier.

With 10 expballs and 1 DragonBall you can instantly level from 1 to 61.

Another thing that's very useful is the ExpAmrite which can be bought at VIPStorekeeper for 50 thousand rgps.
With this so called exp pot you gain 5 times the normal experience.

The following places and numbers are all from own experience and I leveled every class till now pretty good this way.

Since you should be level 55 already, you can either go to Ape Mountain or Desert City depending on your equipment.

In Ape Mountain you should be fine at FreakyGorilla and LabExperiment which are on the upper left part of the map.

Newbie Guide Freaky10 Newbie Guide Labexp10

In Desert City you should first stick to SandMonsters till they're white, after that go straight to BladeGhosts which can be found under the
entrance of Mystic Castle.
Stay here until around level 80, they should be white/green at this part.

After this part you can either go to Bird Island or go right into Mystic Castle, always depending on your stuff respectively how much damage you take.

After you reach level 110-120 you can go to WineZone which can be entered with a HealthWine, dropped by Devils in Mystic Castle.

Newbie Guide Healt_10

The npc to enter the Wine Zone is Alcoholist (Mystic Castle (675,342)) which is at the right part of Mystic Castle.

Newbie Guide Alcoho10

I always leveled in Wine Zone till level 132. Other players use Grotto or Underworld to level since there are strong monsters as well.

After you reach 132 you can either keep training the normal way or use apprentices to gain expballs.

--Warrior Farming:
To do this you create a warrior and mentor him with your main char. Then you level that warrior till level 130, 131 or 132, just as you like.
After that you delete the char, make a new one and do the same thing again. This way you gain expballs on your main character which will let you level up after level 132+.

This page helps giving you an idea how much expballs you need for the next level up: http://www.gg2co.com/calculators/exp-ball-calculator.html

--Level up via npc:
There is an npc on market, Sayumi (294,252) who asks 2 million cps to level you up 1 level since you need an enormous amount of expballs from level 135 onwards.

Newbie Guide Sayumi10
